In one sentence
You are applying for admission to a capped private founder community — with a transferable 70-year right of use (renewable) attached to a numbered residence, plus founder access to the shared longevity sanctuary under the Charter terms.
A protected marine reserve in the Java Sea. The science of longevity meeting the architecture of stillness. And, in time, three hundred and twenty people quietly choosing to age well, together.
A letter
We did not set out to build a resort. We set out to build a way of arriving home, three hundred and twenty times over.
Six years ago I started looking for the kind of place I wanted to grow older in — not a holiday home, not an investment. I did not find it. Bali had become a city, the Maldives a service, Tulum a brand. Every refuge had been bought, sold and resold until the original idea was gone.
So we are building it. Not as a resort first, not as a fund — for three hundred and twenty people who care how they will spend the second half of their lives, and who are willing to commit before a single stone is laid.
The homes will be small. The shared spaces will be vast. Your island team will know your name, and your number, once chosen, stays with you for the term of your founder membership.
If this sounds like the place you've been looking for, the first step is a thirty-minute call with our founding team. After that, a $1,000 refundable reservation, held in escrow until the 320th founder is confirmed alongside you. Our masterplan is capped at 320 residences — that, more than anything, is the promise.
Already secured · the place
350,000 sq ft of oceanfront land on Karimunjawa has already been acquired and titled. We are not searching for a site or speculating on a future land deal. Title documents are available for review during the application process.
Karimunjawa is an archipelago of 27 islands suspended between Java and Borneo, ringed by one of the largest coral reefs in Indonesia and known locally as "the Maldives of Indonesia." Designated a national marine park in 2001 and recognised as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, it is one of the last places in Southeast Asia where development is strictly capped — by zoning and by topography. For more than a century, fewer than 9,000 people have lived here, scattered across five inhabited islands. The rest is forest, mangrove, and water so clear you can see your shadow on the sand at twenty metres.
"Every other off-plan project asks you to trust that the land will be found. Ours has already been acquired and titled — on what locals call the Maldives of Indonesia."
Why here
The regions where people most commonly live past 100 — the "Blue Zones" — tend to share five conditions: clean air, slow daily movement, real food, deep social bonds, and an unhurried sense of purpose. Karimunjawa, by accident of geography, offers the setting for all five.
We didn't build a resort here. We designed a community around what research associates with a longer healthspan: time in nature, time in water, time with people, and time without screens. Every home, every common space, every meal is sequenced around that one idea.
The Blue Zones association between lifestyle and longevity is observational. We make no guarantee of individual outcomes — we measure them.
A quiet inheritance
A 25 m² eco prefab — bedroom and full bathroom — wrapped in cream panels and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass that opens onto a private deck. Your home is 25 m². The shared sanctuary is vast. The luxury is what you step out into.

Your shared playground · the real luxury
The habits associated with longer healthspan rarely fit inside a private apartment — they live in a shared environment. Every facility opens to the sea, the jungle, or the sky.
AI-generated reference renders. Final builds based on Amoda design and the on-site landscape.
The thousand small things
Twelve quiet, considered details — the kind noticed the second time you arrive, and remembered for the rest of your life.
A hand-built bamboo bicycle with a leather saddle and a small bronze plate engraved with your founder number. Lives at your door.
Your coffee, your books, your linens — already in your home the day you arrive. Preferences updated once a year, by a single call.
Island-grown produce, just-picked herbs and warm bread from the kitchen, left at your door each morning.
A literary curator interviews you, then sends books across the year — each with a note on why this one, why now.
Not a team. One named person who knows your allergies, your grandchildren's names, the coffee you take.
An intimate eight-seat dinner each quarter, the other seven founders chosen by shared interest. A friend made, slowly.
"Luxury is not what they add to the room. It is what you never have to think about again."
Not a clinic. Not a resort.
Longevity Island is a place where annual testing, recovery spaces, movement, nutrition, nature and community are designed to work together. The programme is preventive and wellness-oriented, supported by clinical advisors where appropriate — and never a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency care.
Included from day one
One monthly fee covers every facility, your annual health audit, and the protocol the clinical team designs for you.
Core facilities, annual testing and group programming are included. Private sessions, meals and selected clinical services are available at member rates.
Access is attached to the founder membership and right-of-use term, subject to Charter terms and payment of the monthly membership fee. The programme is wellness-oriented and preventive in nature; it is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency care.
Your residence, your call
Full freedom — fully managed only when you ask for it.
Come whenever you want, for as long as you want. No booking windows, no minimum stays, no rules. It's your home.
Choose how many weeks each year you let us manage — 1 to 60. We handle guest vetting, programming and cleaning. Income paid monthly.
Your right of use is designed to be transferable, subject to the Charter terms and local legal documentation — to pass on or to family.
Limited founder release
The island is released in measured phases. As each phase sells, the next opens at a higher price — so entering early is the difference in price. Our masterplan is capped at 320 residences, based on the parcel, zoning and low-density design; no further founder residences are planned.
The residences · simply put
The residence is compact and serene by design — your private base. The value is in what it opens. Every residence includes full access to the longevity sanctuary under the Charter terms.
Sizes and prices are indicative for the founder phase. Exact terms are set out in the documents you receive as a founder.
What you gain
The aim is a longer healthspan — measured in your biology, year after year, alongside the founders around you. We don't promise a number. We measure what we can, and publish it.
Schematic illustration only, not founder data. A simplified depiction of trends discussed in the healthy-ageing literature; not a prediction of your results. Your own bio-age report measures your trajectory privately, every year.
Documents available for founder review
Serious applicants are shown the paperwork. The following are made available for review during the application process and on your call.
Some documents are in draft form and evolving; we share them as they stand, candidly, rather than waiting for everything to be final.
The promise that makes the rest possible
No construction begins, no balance is ever drawn, and no dollar of yours leaves escrow — until 320 people have made the same commitment you have. If we don't reach 320, every cent comes back to you, automatically.
Reservations are held through an independent, FCA-regulated escrow provider, in a segregated account — never on our balance sheet. Provider onboarding is in progress.
Construction starts only when 320 founders are in. Until then, your money stays where you can recall it.
If the campaign ends below 320, escrow refunds you automatically. No claims, no forms, no waiting.
The balance is released only against verified milestones — photo, video, third-party inspection.
"You never pay for a promise. You pay for what 319 other people are willing to commit alongside you."
Refundable reservations held through a regulated escrow provider, subject to final provider onboarding and agreement terms. Card processing by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1).
From reservation to keys
$1,000 enters independent escrow. We hold your founder number while we curate the 320.
The land is already secured. Construction is intended to begin once the 320th founder is confirmed and the required approvals are in hand.
Your home, the gardens, the twelve common spaces — ready. You arrive, you sign, you sleep in your bed.

You don't buy in. You're admitted.
This is not only a property purchase — it is admission to a curated community of 320 people who will live, age and build something together. We curate. And once you're in, the decisions that shape the island are yours to vote on.
A short form and a 30-minute call. We look for fit, not wealth: people who'll show up and care about ageing well.
320 founders, 47+ nationalities. A natural cap of ~10% from any one country and ~25% from any profession keeps it diverse.
Each quarter, a private ballot. The 13th common space, the chef in residence, the protocol focus — decided by the 320.
Once admitted, you're Founder #1–#320 — on every gathering, every ballot, every annual report.
"You don't visit the island that gets built. You build the island you'll visit."
Proof, not promise
Every founder receives a complimentary biological-age test on entry, and again every twelve months. Your individual results stay private; the community's anonymised aggregate is published each January in the Longevity Island Report. Nothing is invented; everything is measured.
"You don't compete with the others. You compete with the version of yourself who arrived a year ago."
On the day you are admitted
The application is the easy part. What happens after you are admitted is the part you will remember for the rest of your life.

Karimunjawa lies outside the main Pacific cyclone corridor and away from the most active fault lines; the Amoda design is engineered to local code for tropical conditions. Each founder may also take out their own property insurance policy if they wish. Connectivity is handled by Starlink across the sanctuary — roughly 300 Mbps down and 300 Mbps up — with full fibre-grade coverage in the coworking lounge and wi-fi in bedrooms, though switching it off is a deliberate part of the programme.
